We have such a fun midtown Memphis engagement shoot to share today! Ed and I are HUGE fans of wine and cheese (I could seriously enjoy it every night for dinner and not get tired of it!), so when these two told us they wanted to do a wine and cheese picnic in the park, under a canopy of beautiful Fall leaves for their engagement session, we were all in!
We wound down the last of our 2016 sessions with Sabrina and Gary, and we will be starting off our 2017 season with them. These two are getting married in February, in exactly a month! They will be our first wedding of the year, and we can’t think of a better way to kick off the season! We shot so many sessions during Fall last year, and we got so lucky with beautiful weather! This session was no exception. We ended the shoot in Overton Park, and the leaves could not have been any more colorful!
Sabrina told me she’s the conservative one while Gary is the adventurous one, but they always manage to meet in the middle. After spending a couple hours with them, we think that’s the perfect description of them! They are true foodies who love wine tastings, outdoor music, and spending time together in Midtown. Babalu is one of their favorite dining spots for brunch, lunch, or dinner, so we decided to start there. We got them warmed up in front of the camera while they waited for mimosas. We always approve of pre-photo cocktails!
Sabrina and Gary, thank you so much for spending an evening with us! It was a pleasure capturing the special love you two share, and we can’t wait to do it again in a month! Enjoy a few of our favorites!
