18 May Natural Summer Farm Engagement in Tennessee
We sat with them over drinks one casual evening, learning a little more about each other and sharing lots of laughs. Bailey and Will booked us without ever meeting us first, so we wanted to get to know them a bit before we got them in front of our cameras. We spent very little time talking “business” and spent lots of time talking “life,” and we loved them right away for that! By the time we all met again for their Tennessee farm engagement session, we were old friends! Which, as you will see, made for plenty of awesome photos! Keep a lookout for a couple of cow cameos!
Natural Summer Farm Engagement in Tennessee
These two will begin their married life at the same place they began their engagement. When Will’s grandfather had an opportunity to buy back his old family home, he jumped at the chance. He just wasn’t quite certain what he was going to do with it. Knowing that Will was looking for a place to live, he thought it might be the perfect place for him. But Will wanted to get his girlfriend’s opinion. He also wanted to get her answer to a very important question.
So Will lured Bailey out to the house for a faux inspection. Instead, he dropped to one knee and asked her to be his wife. She hastily and happily agreed. Then he whisked her away to celebrate. Bailey never got a house tour that day. But later, she did finally see the house, and they will both be moving in shortly after they’re married this July.
Is that not the sweetest story? I love that they tied their house to their love story! How will they ever move?
Bailey and Will are both country people who love being barefoot, fishing, and relaxing in nature. They invited us out to Will’s family farm for their engagement photos. I am not exaggerating when I say that the location was magnificent! We got a full tour of the place and had so much fun shooting in all their different little spots. It had everything: a lake, open fields, tall grasses, woods, and even COWS. I never thought I’d be shooting in a field full of cows, but it turned out epic!
You guys. We don’t even know how to thank you for your hospitality and your awesomeness in general! We had SUCH a great time with you both, and we loved seeing the farm. But we have to say, the most beautiful thing we saw there was YOU. We can’t wait to do it all again for the wedding! Enjoy this little sneak peek of your engagement photos!
