08 Oct Keith | Midtown Memphis Senior
As most of you already know, we don’t usually do Senior photos. But we have been known to make exceptions now and then! Our own daughter’s Senior photos not included, 😉 we always love taking photos of friends and family, and their children. I also have a little secret announcement (I guess it’s not secret if I announce it!) at the end of this post that could be related, so keep reading!
Keith is the son of our very good friend, Valarie. Valarie is also an extremely talented hair stylist (see evidence here, here, and here). But I digress. Keith and our daughter, Helen, are the same age, and are both Memphis Seniors this year! Naturally, I wouldn’t let Valarie let anyone else take his photos, so Ed and I quickly volunteered! We have known this kid since he was a pre-teen, and I can’t believe how grown-up he’s become! It’s been such a joy to watch him develop into the young man he is today.
Keith wanted something a little different for his Senior photos. He wanted something Southern that had a Memphis feel, but also something artistic. Ed and I were totally on board, and we all decided that midtown Memphis would be the perfect place.
Like his mom, Keith loves fashion, and never minds dressing up. I loved this blazer on him!
We may have stopped here just to get the classic car in the background! I love the light and the neon too.
Nothing says Memphis like a huge Memphis mural, right?? I love this shot of him!
We had never heard of the Mempops food truck, but we’ve been actively seeking it out ever since we took these!
We hit Broad Street right at sunset for these colorful shots. What a great way to end the day! I LOVE all these colors!
And now for that little announcement….
Ed and I have decided that we would like to start adding Senior sessions to our repertoire! We will be working on an official website that will have much more information, but in the meantime, if you know anyone in need of creative, lifestyle, Senior photos, please have them contact us! We’re really excited about this new adventure, and we can’t wait to get started!
Valarie and Keith, thanks so much for letting us bully you into these photos! We had so much fun!
