09 Feb Trey, Class of 2017 | Memphis Fall Baseball Senior Portraits
Things have kinda been slow here on the ole blog lately. Part of the reason for that is that Ed and I have been busy the last few months building the Senior side of our business! We will have more news in that department coming soon, but in the meantime, we have quite a few sessions to post! We LOVE Senior sessions! I think we get along so well with teenagers because we have so many around our own house – it just feels natural. Well, that, and we’re both still so young at heart! One thing we love to do for our Seniors is create a special highlight video for them. This is such a special (and fleeting!) time in their lives, and we know this video will be even more treasured later. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see what we mean!
Trey is the older brother of one of the girls in Alex’s dance company. We were incredible honored and excited when Trey’s mom came to us about doing his Senior photos! Trey is a star pitcher for his school’s baseball team, so we knew we wanted to incorporate that. He also has a very charming smile, complete with dimples. We had so much fun coaxing out his natural personality!
Even though Trey’s family told us he was more of a smiling, laughing guy, we thought he nailed the serious look too! He is very fond of his truck, so we made sure to get it in a few shots, as well as a laugh or two with Carly, his sister (she adores him)! We got lucky and spent sunset in a field of cotton that had not been picked yet. A special shoutout to Trey’s mom for pre-scouting the area! The cotton was a perfect nod to the South and provided some fun texture to Trey’s portraits.
Trey, thank you so much for hanging out with us and showing us how real pitchers throw a baseball! I know Ed was taking notes. We can’t wait to see where life takes you! If you treat your college career with the energy, kindness, and zest that we saw in you, we know you will go far! Enjoy a few of our favorites from your session!
