I had been waiting to meet this girl for months!Β Catherine doesn't currently live in Memphis, so we had our initial meeting over the phone. Even though we couldn't see each other, we just clicked! You know how phone calls can be difficult when you can't see body language? We didn't have that problem. We bonded over succulents, love, and Southern charm, and I just couldn't wait to meet her face to face! We finally got our chance when she and Trent were in Memphis for the holidays. We scheduled their winter engagement session while they were here, and we lucked out with a sunny day!

When Lori and Kenny met for the first time, they were both at the same birthday party, but with other dates. They introduced themselves and chatted for a bit, then went their separate ways. But later, Kenny didn't forget Lori. The next time he needed a date, she immediately popped into his head. He messaged her on Facebook, and they began chatting. Lucky for Kenny, Lori didn't forget him either. It wasn't long before they were each other's permanent dates.

One of my goals for 2014 is to take more personal photos. I haven't been doing so well with that so far (and it's already March!), so when we got our first REAL day of snow, I made myself go take some photos of the kids Β in it. Now, I hate snow. Like, hate it. It's cold, and I hate being cold. It's wet. It sticks to everything. And it's COLD! But it sure is pretty!

Kristin and Tyree have known each other for years. The only problem was that while he was here in Memphis, she lived in Minnesota. They would chat online and talk on the phone frequently, but when the time came that they knew they wanted to date, the distance became wider. So, for their first official date, they decided to meet halfway in St. Louis.
