I firmly believe that the couples that Ed and I get along with best are those that have similar values as our own. I think that's true for a lot of relationships, actually. We easily build a rapport and intuitively know what is most important to them. This makes photographing their story and their important moments so much easier! Ed and I have been married long enough that we can tell you in an instant what is most important to us: family, friends, and living a good life to the fullest. We love to celebrate anything (we don't need much of an excuse for a party!), and as long as our loved ones are near, we're good.

LA was a lot greener than I thought it would be. I expected concrete. And smog. And while there were plenty of both, there were also trees. The palm trees stuck up everywhere, like little dots against the sky. Flowers grew randomly on the side of the freeways. And yards were covered in vines and bougainvillea.

Olivia is my kind of girl. She's got spunk, style, and she doesn't care what other people think. When I first met her, I knew we would get along just fine! Her wedding day was everything she and Todd wanted it to be - classy, fun with a little bit of quirkiness, and just totally them. Watching them love, I could see how they complimented each other perfectly and knew that they were meant to be.
