Missy and Will have an uncanny way of actually slowing down time. Long, languid, enjoyable time! These two got plenty of it to relax and just BE in the moment. The entire day was smooth and chill, despite the summer heat. I'm still trying to figure out how we got so much time to get all the photos we needed, plus time to just enjoy their Memphis Botanic Garden wedding. That never happens! All I can come up with is that Missy and Will are magicians. Special, beautiful, bride and groom magicians. Yup.

Carmen and Grantley are not afraid to celebrate the way they know best! They wanted a small but short ceremony on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River. Time to enjoy their closest friends and family present was a priority. They wanted to attend their own cocktail hour. Photos were a priority (love that!), and they wanted plenty of time for them. And most of all, they wanted to be married!

Lindsay and Buck may not yet be married, but they've already got quite the family! We absolutely love it when couples want to include their fur babies in their photo session. Petunia, Percy, and Ty completely stole our hearts and added the perfect amount of energy to our summer garden engagement session. Keep scrolling to see their happy puppy antics!

We sat with them over drinks one casual evening, learning a little more about each other and sharing lots of laughs. Bailey and Will booked us without ever meeting us first, so we wanted to get to know them a bit before we got them in front of our cameras. We spent very little time talking "business" and spent lots of time talking "life," and we loved them right away for that! By the time we all met again for their Tennessee farm engagement session, we were old friends! Which, as you will see, made for plenty of awesome photos! Keep a lookout for a couple of cow cameos!

We've known Caitlin for years. When our girls were small children, Caitlin and her family lived down the street from us, and she spent a lot of time at our house. Now she's all grown up and getting married (that makes me feel so old)! We were absolutely thrilled that she called us after she was engaged, although we wouldn't have given her much of a choice, haha! We had to reschedule this engagement session due to a typical Memphis popup storm, but I'm so glad we did! The weather this day was bright and sunny, just like Caitlin's smile!

As we were chatting with the wedding coordinator this day, she commented that Keith and Joe couldn't have been more perfect for each other - they were each the yin to the other's yang. We agreed heartily. Keith and Joe seem like complete opposites on the outside, yet they compliment each other so beautifully, that you just can't imagine one without the other!

On most days, when Amy walks into a room, there's a noticeable shift in the brightness. Her smile lights up the darkest places, and people naturally gravitate toward her. She is a stunning beauty, but she doesn't know it, and that's the best kind. But more than that, Amy is nothing but heart.

Molly and Spencer are the epitome of Southern charm and grace, and their wedding day only proved it! Molly could only be described as the quintessential blonde bombshell, with a golden heart to match! You can tell more about a person by their friends, and Molly was surrounded by dozens of ladies who only wanted to make sure that she was taken care of on her special day, and that she wanted for nothing. What they all realized was this day was about love, and that the only thing she wanted was Spencer.

Today is the end of our first week back to school for the new year. I ain't gonna lie... I'm always ready for school to start by the end of summer! I love having my kids at home, I do. But I get absolutely nothing done! The kids' schedules get totally messed up. They all stay up until midnight or later. It's a mad house! I am no stickler for the rules, but I do appreciate a little order now and then.

Wait. Hold on a second. Didn't the summer just start last week? I'm confused. How is it the first day of school already? Everyone else on the planet still has two weeks left! But it is. Well, it was. Yesterday was our first day of the...
