02 May cheryl + omar: joined. a heartwood hall wedding.
Cheryl is the kind of girl who does things herself. She owns her own business. She adores cooking, enjoys the challenge of learning a new, complicated dish. If she doesn’t know how to do something, she figures it out. And she’s not afraid to open a bottle of champagne by herself, at her own wedding. She’s independent. She doesn’t need anyone else to take care of her. So, when she lets Omar take care of her, it means something special. She lets him in, and he is a part of her. She may not need him to take care of her, but she needs him.
Cheryl and Omar exchanged vows on a beautiful Spring day. Cheryl vowed to be Omar’s partner, to support him, and to always stand by his side. Omar vowed to love Cheryl, to laugh with her, to make her smile, and to inspire her. Together, they start a new life. One where they will share everything and take care of each other.
Cheryl and Omar, your wedding was the first wedding of the year for us, and there is no other way I would have chosen to start it! You are both beautiful people, inside and out. I am so glad we got to spend over a year getting to know each other! Thank you so much for the honor of capturing your day and allowing us to share the joy and love you have for each other and for your family and friends. I can’t wait to see where life takes you!
Cheryl made the most stunning bride! I loved the nod to Omar’s heritage that she included with her mendhi.
Cheryl and Omar chose to see each other before the ceremony, which left us lots of time for photos around the gorgeous Heartwood Hall property.
We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day! Blooming dogwoods made it that much better.
After the ceremony, we took a few more minutes for portraits in the gorgeous sunset light.
Cheryl and her dad shared a special dance, choreographed ahead of time, that was hugely entertaining!
At the end of the night, they were still wrapped in each other’s arms. The perfect ending to the perfect day!
Special thanks to all who made this day so stunning:
