hayley + patrick: joined. a memphis brooks museum wedding.

They don’t do conventional. They prefer things their own way, and that’s what makes them so fundamentally them, and so perfect for each other. Since they live in Florida, they were guests in Memphis on their wedding day, yet they played the gracious hosts to their closest friends and family on a wonderfully sunny day in March.

Hayley and Patrick started the day at the Mollie Fontaine Lounge, one of their favorite places in Memphis. As family members pulled up to the curb, they both ran outside for hugs and greetings. Shaking off the idea that it was bad luck to see each other before the wedding, they preferred to spend as much time together as possible. This day was all about them, after all, and like everything else, they were going to do it their own way.

Hayley wanted a comfortable, yet stylish, place to get ready for her big day. Mollie Fontaine’s was the perfect choice! The wedding party had the entire house to themselves, and it was filled with cool art and furnishings.

Yes, that is a little blue box from Tiffany’s. Patrick’s a keeper.

Hayley had the best group of girls ever – and they were all so adorable watching Hayley get into her gown.

Meanwhile, Patrick was looking quite dapper himself!

Hayley and Patrick chose to see each other before the ceremony, and I just love it when a couple has a First Look! Patrick is obviously very happy at the site of his bride.

And Ed is always so good at capturing the happy tears.

We had time for a few portraits before heading to the ceremony site.

Probably my favorite photo of the day.

Hayley, Hayley, Hayley! You make one stunning bride.

We met the bridal party again at the Brooks Museum, the perfect place for a beautiful wedding! These were some good looking’ guys and gals.

We grabbed some time right before the ceremony to take advantage of the sunset light and get just a few more portraits of the bride and groom.

Getting hitched! Ed grabbed the shot of Hayley with her dad while I took photos of Patrick’s smiling face.

The ceremony was very emotional, and everyone present felt the love…

But no one was happier than Hayley when it was official!

The reception went all night and was filled with tender dances…

heartfelt toasts…

and lots of partying!

Hayley and Patrick, we can’t thank you enough for allowing us into your lives and giving us the honor of capturing your beautiful celebration of love. We miss you already! I think another trip to Florida is in order soon…

Excellent photos, Amy! I’m certain Hayley and Patrick will adore these for the rest of their lives.
