13 Sep Summer July Fourth Intimate Wedding in Mempis
Samantha and Steven met in Iraq. She was doing important military intelligence things, and he was training firefighters. He was drawn to her right away, so he decided to ask her the second most important question he would ever ask her…
Want to drive my fire truck?
One of the things Steven loves most about Samantha is that she isn’t afraid of anything. She wasn’t a bit afraid to take the wheel of that big truck (though he may have feared for his life!). She wasn’t afraid of falling in love when she agreed to start dating him. And she wasn’t afraid to hit the gym with him once she found out that he was into Crossfit.
It didn’t take them long to become inseparable, combining date nights with working out together. When their gym had a contest for a free pair of training shoes, Samantha and Steven decided to enter. Little did Samantha know that Steven had rigged the whole thing so that she would win the shoes, which he had labeled with “marry me.” When they called her name as the winner, they asked her to check the size, and Steven got down on one knee to officially make her his fiancée.
Naturally, two people dedicated to serving this country could only choose July Fourth as a wedding date! Steven’s only wish for the big day was that his dad, who is confined to a hospital bed, be able to see him get married. So Samantha returned home with Steven to Memphis to exchange their vows at Steven’s family home.
Samantha and Steven, we are so honored to have captured your special day! We fell in love with your story, but not as much as we did with the two of you! Your wedding day was not only perfect, it was perfect for you. From your sweet First Look to the sunset portraits later that evening, everything was beautiful. Enjoy this little sneak peek of your summer July Fourth wedding!
