27 Feb Classic Downtown Memphis Cadre Building Wedding
He stood waiting patiently in the beautiful lobby of the Cadre Building. He looked around the room wistfully, taking everything in. The decorations. The flowers. The cake. He couldn’t stop smiling. “I’ve never been married before,” he said, “but I thought I was supposed to be nervous. I’m just excited! I can’t wait to see her!” He had spent the last 8 years getting ready for this moment. Learning to love her. Growing with her. Making sure everything was right before he made her his wife. Finally, that moment was now.
Mallory and Parker’s wedding day was indescribable (though I will try my best)! Perhaps the minister said it best when he implored them to bring their best into their marriage. He asked that Mallory bring her modesty, her sweetness, and her style to their marriage (I mean, hello! She designed her own wedding gown and accented it with Louboutin heels. No one knows style like this girl!). Then he turned to Parker and asked him to bring his intelligence, his sense of adventure, and his caring nature into their marriage. With those killer combinations, there’s nothing these two can’t do together!
Mallory was such an amazing bride! She didn’t even think twice when we asked her to drag her custom designer gown through rain-soaked streets. She never hesitated when there was a break in the rain to run outside for more photos. She never complained while we took time to arrange a 26-member awesome wedding party. She turned to me later and said, “you were calm, so I was calm.” Another thing these two have in spades? Trust.
A designer dress. Louboutin heels. Flowers for days. A dream team of vendors. This was a wedding for the books! Yes, it was all gorgeous. But when I think back on this day, I will remember the people. I will remember a beautiful couple who trusted us with their wedding photos on a rainy day. I will remember the bear hug that Mallory’s mom gave me at the end of the evening, a literal embrace into their family. I will remember the kind, gracious, and giving hearts of everyone who surrounded the lucky couple.
All. Day. Long.

Because YOU are unforgettable. The way you love not only each other, but everyone, is an inspiration. We are SO glad you found each other, and we are beyond honored that we were there to capture one day of your story! Thank you for reminding us why we love this job so much! I know you are having a blast in St. Lucia, but I hope you get a few spare minutes to enjoy just a few of our favorites from your wedding day. We love you both!
