18 Nov Small Outdoor Fall Intimate Wedding in Memphis
The details of this wedding day, like so many things this year, evolved several times over the course of a few weeks. I have been so impressed with brides this year! They have all really shown so much resilience and flexibility. Jennifer and Melvin are no different. They just wanted to be married and join their families. Everything turned out perfectly beautiful! I know this day was exactly what they wanted, global pandemic or not.
Small, intimate weddings are quickly becoming our absolute favorites! Jennifer has a son, and Melvin a daughter, and they were so eager to be one big family instead of two little ones. They didn’t want it to be extravagant, and they didn’t want it to be a big event. Priorities included having their loved ones present to witness their vows and photos to capture their union.
Small Outdoor Fall Intimate Wedding in Memphis
The Fall weather on this day was perfect for a small outdoor intimate wedding! The temperatures were not too hot, not too cold. The couple pledged their love to each other under the trees of a small glade, with the view of water and a covered bridge in the background. Family members mingled while being masked and socially distant, and cheered when the couple finally said “I do.”
Ed and I had not met Jennifer or Melvin until this day, but we got along right away! They are our kind of people. Casual, relaxed, and in love! They were pros in front of the camera, as if we had known them for years instead of just minutes. They were so happy when they were together that it was easy to capture their smiles and feelings for each other.
Jennifer and Melvin, we had such fun with you two! We’re so glad we got to finally meet you and capture your special wedding day. It was so perfect for 2020, and I know you will never forget it! Enjoy this peek into your lovely wedding day!
